A traffic warden tried to give a wheelie bin a ticket

A traffic warden is being formally investigated for his ‘bizarre behaviour’ after he put a parking ticket on a wheelie bin.

In fairness, the wheelie bin was on a double yellow line. Perhaps the traffic warden thought, therefore, that even though it wasn’t a car, the owner should still be fined.

Or perhaps he genuinely thought it was a car. After all, cars are more often found on double yellow lines than wheelie bins (as we’re sure you well know). And there are some very odd-looking cars these days.
